The Custodian I position is an entry‑level role that involves a range of cleaning tasks, from light to heavy, either independently or as part of a team. Under close supervision, employees receive detailed instructions for routine custodial duties.

Adherence to safety protocols, correct use of equipment and supplies, and prompt reporting of hazards and repair needs are essential.

• Dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms.
• Restocking paper, soap, and other supplies in bathrooms, offices, entrances, classrooms, and hallways.
• Routine maintenance and management of custodial equipment to ensure functionality and longevity.
• Reporting fire, sanitary, and safety hazards and necessary repairs to the immediate supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google apps, and facilities management software.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to understand and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Commitment to a student‑first philosophy and the ability to act as a positive role model and brand ambassador on and off campus.
