Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full time Physical Therapist Assistant for our Cass City Rehab department. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide our patients with the highest quality of services.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Michigan.
• Able to pass a criminal background investigation and drug test.
• CPR for Professional Rescuer or BLS-C certification required (will be provided by the employer).

The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for providing professional outpatient and/or inpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation services within Aspire-Rural Health System. Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, monitoring and documenting patient progress, reporting changes or concerns in patient progress to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educating patients and families, and maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment.
• Adhering to APTA Standards of Practice, prevailing accreditation body guidelines, and all applicable state and federal laws.
