Summary of Position

Are you a finance professional who thrives on both strategy and hands‑on execution? We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager/Controller to join our executive team and lead all aspects of financial operations. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact while remaining deeply engaged in day‑to‑day financial activities. This is not just a reporting role, you’ll be actively involved in day-to-day processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial health.

As our Finance Manager/Controller, you will be the cornerstone of our financial integrity. You’ll oversee daily accounting functions, deliver timely reporting, maintain compliance, and support key business decisions. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence organizational strategy while remaining actively involved in core financial processes.

Primary Duties of Position
  • Assure that the books of the company accurately reflect of the activity of the company.
  • Has the position of Vice President on the board of directors for the company.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting to Group on a periodic basis.
  • Ensures that financial Planning and subsequent forecasts are reported as required.
  • Manages Bank relationships and Bank accounts and manage the transfer of funds.
  • Responsible for Insurance and Risk management and assurance that coverage is maintained.
  • Advise management and Operations on basic business practices.
  • Acts as Liaison between Group and the Company when needed.
  • Ensures that internal controls are in place to protect shareholder value.
  • Coordinates with the internal audit department of AMG.
  • Provides financial analysis and costing processes as needed.
  • Oversees External Financial Audits.
  • Trustee for 401K.
  • Responsible for all financial systems.
  • Manages cash to support operations.
  • Assures tax information is provided as required For Federal taxes, State taxes, property tax, use tax and others as needed.
  • Oversees that Employee benefits are in place.
  • Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by Management.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, ideally in a hands‑on controller role, in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical capability.

-10 years Accounting Finance experience. Usually obtained by working as an operational financial Controller.
