Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Cardiologist to join our medical team in Port Huron, Michigan. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to a diverse patient population while working in a supportive, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and cardiovascular diagnostic testing
  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and congestive heart failure
  • Design and execute individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs
  • Conduct diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, and pacemaker insertions
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated patient care
  • Stay informed on advancements in cardiology research, technology, and best practices
  • Participate in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives as applicable
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proficiency with cardiology imaging and diagnostic tools, including CT and related technologies
  • Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Knowledge of emergency cardiac care protocols
  • Strong ability to interpret vital signs and cardiovascular diagnostic results
Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology
  • Active Michigan medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
