Overview
You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the TOTAL SHIP COMPUTING SYSTEMS (D53) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Hiring freeze noteThe Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating or managing the installation, testing, and maintenance of Total Ship Computing Environment (TSCE) hardware and Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) on Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) to verify systems availability, functionality and efficiency in accordance with cybersecurity requirements for combat ship systems.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
