Citrix System Administrator

Systems Intelligence is looking for a Citrix System Administrator to work in Port Hueneme, CA. This position will perform CITRIX System Administration duties at a DoD facility. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

• Management, maintenance, and sustainment of the CITRIX environment, CITRIX products and CITRIX hosted applications for a DoD customer.
• Administers, develops, runs tests, implements, and maintains operating system and related software.
• Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
• Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems.
• Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and performs data recoveries. Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts. Provides technical support for system users.
• Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• May act as lead.

• Experience in the management, maintenance, and sustainment of the CITRIX environment, CITRIX products and CITRIX hosted applications.
• Experience including managing successful large scale, multi-discipline, technology or service-oriented projects involving CITRIX.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS, Windows Server 2016 (2019/2022) and Infrastructure (AD, CIFS, DNS and GPO).

  Experience:
  
  CITRIX/Xen App Presentation Server Technology, Citrix Secure Gateway, Desktop Delivery Control, Citrix Resource manager and database, Microsoft Windows Server Administration, Microsoft OS Certification, JAVA/JDK/J2EE.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification (or government approved IT Security Certification e.g. CISSP).
• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution.
• Required to be U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to maintain Secret clearance eligibility.
