Deployed Support Specialist; Field​/Network Tech

Overview

We have an immediate need for 1 Network Technician, Deployed Support Specialist, to support the Navy. We are looking for individuals with 4 years of IT experience and some experience with networking equipment. All candidates MUST have a fully adjudicated secret clearance and a Security+ CE certification.

• Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain information technology systems in both a stand-alone and client-server environment.
• Integrate multiple information systems in a networked environment, evaluate and resolve customer information system problems, and effect required hardware upgrades and repairs to maintain mission capability.
• Install and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, and various transmission media, server hardware and software, and ensure proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware and software for efficient operation on the network.

• Basic IT fundamentals through coursework or relevant professional experience (Security+ CE).
• Prior experience partnering with or supporting active duty military personnel.
• Experience supporting networking equipment.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize daily responsibilities independently.
• Must be autonomous and able to interact with high-ranking officials.

Intermediate Level

Contract position based out of Port Hueneme, CA.

The pay range for this position is $33.80 - $38.94/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits may include:

This is a fully onsite position in Port Hueneme, CA.
