Overview
We have an immediate need for 1 Network technician called a Deployed Support Specialist to support the Navy. We area looking for individuals with 4 years of IT experience and a good understanding / some experience with Networking equipment. All candidates MUST have a fully adjudicated secret clearance and a Security+ CE certification.
Responsibilities- Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain information technology systems in both a stand-alone and client-server environment.
- Integrate multiple information systems in a networked environment, evaluate and resolve customer information system problems, effect required hardware upgrades and repair to maintain mission capability.
- Install and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, and various transmission media, server hardware and software, and ensure the proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware and software for efficient operation on the network.
- You must have a basic experience of IT fundamentals through coursework or relevant professional experience (Security+ CE).
- You are expected to have prior experience partnering with/or supporting active duty military personnel.
- You must have experience supporting Networking Equipment.
- You will be expected to handle a fast-paced environment and experience prioritizing daily responsibilities independently.
- Must be autonomous and able to interact with high ranking officials.
- Experience Level: Intermediate Level.
This is a Contract position based out of Port Hueneme, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.80 - $38.94/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
