Tech Writer​/Training Specialist; MTCA​/Navy

Pro Sync Technology Group, LLC is seeking a Technical Writer & Training Specialist to translate complex maritime concepts into clear documentation. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders, meticulous editing, and development of instructional and operational guidance for maritime operations.

Base salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year. Additional bonuses and benefits apply.

• Conduct interviews and briefings with maritime personnel, engineers, and subject matter experts to collect accurate information.
• Produce and maintain manuals, technical documents, training guides, and policy documents that align with maritime standards and regulatory requirements.
• Edit and refine technical content, ensuring compliance with organizational style guides and readability standards.
• Evaluate existing communications and recommend improvements for clarity, consistency, and effectiveness.
• Develop and update training materials and documentation to support operational readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure technical accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.

• Three years of experience in technical writing within a maritime or related field.
• Experience collaborating with technical customers to understand and document complex concepts.
• Strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to analyze and recommend communications improvements.
• Experience developing written products such as procedures and policies.

• Minimum Top Secret security clearance or higher.
• Three of seven years of experience must cover specified areas.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, science, business, or a technical discipline.
