Position: Prep Cook

Location: In-Person, Port Hueneme, California

Schedule: Full time, 8‑hour shifts, must be able to work weekends

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
• Ensure all food supplies are properly stored and labeled.
• Ensure all condiments are stocked and available for consumption.
• Assist with the preparation of meal ingredients, including washing, cleaning, peeling, and cutting.
• Help maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Follow dietary guidelines and meal plans for clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; culinary education or certification preferred.
• Driver’s license:
  Current, valid California Driver License with a good driving record.

• Proficiency in English; bilingual (English‑Spanish) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel locally to other company locations when necessary.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment screenings, including a tuberculosis screening, background check, drug screening, and reference checks. Ongoing monitoring and screenings are required throughout employment.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet our 24/7/365 healthcare facility needs.
