Position: ENGINEER with Security Clearance
Duties Help
* You will provide technical oversight for Division engineering policies and procedures.
* You will be responsible for the directing and leading the technical quality of the division's engineering products and processes used in the development and delivery of the current and future combat systems.
* You will serve as the lead Engineer for projects associated with in-service engineering disciplines, including design, life cycle support, integration and test, installation, operation, and maintenance.
* You will serve as the lead technical authority within the division, responsible for the quality execution and timely delivery of all technical products.
* You will provide technical direction and coordination in support of Combat Systems tasking during all phases of the Acquisition cycle.
* You will provide leadership and technical expertise for total systems development, life cycle sustainment, Integration and Test and Evaluation in support of a major warfare system.
* You will oversight and direction on all technical reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, and Program Reviews.
* You will develop and review system requirements, participate in system integration and validation, and influence in-service updates to maintain the efficacy and safety of the warfighter's tools and capabilities. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Engineer providing leadership and guidance in the technical design and development process utilizing designs and drawings, modeling, prototyping, and production of electronics products; applying system engineering principles, methods, and procedures to architect, design, integrate, and evaluate systems, sub-systems, and interfaces to meet requirements; applying configuration management principles to establish and maintain consistency of a system's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life;

and ensuring quality assurance, quality control, process improvement, and reliability are used to ensure that a project, system, or product meets requirements and standards.
