Base Pay Range$54.04/hr – $54.04/hr
DescriptionPerform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on specific applicable T/M/S aircraft Egress, Environmental and related systems. Provide flight line essential services as directed by the daily Flight Schedule. Routine lifting and ordnance loading will require team lifts up to 167 lb per team member in accordance with USN procedures. Lead Level I work center personnel in accomplishing maintenance tasks, while receiving guidance from supervisors or higher-level technicians.
Occasionally lead teams through more complex tasks.
- Perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on aircraft Egress, Environmental and related systems.
- Provide flight line essential services as directed by the daily Flight Schedule.
- Perform routine lifting; lifting exceeds OSHA standards.
- Conduct routine ordnance loading; team lifts of items up to 167 lb per member.
- Direct Level I work center personnel to accomplish maintenance actions.
- Provide guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout modifications and maintenance efforts.
- Lead teams through complex aircraft-related tasks as required.
- Education
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduates of approved O-Level training, AME School, manufacturer, or Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit for specific T/M/S egress systems.
- Completed and documented appropriate T/M Navy Egress Class "C" school.
- Experience
- Minimum five years USN/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience.
- Minimum three years T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience for the specific aircraft hired to maintain.
- Three years T/M experience within the last seven years.
- Other Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Possess or qualify for a U.S. state driver's license.
- Experienced in the maintenance of:
- Aircraft ejection seats
- Aircraft air conditioning systems
- Canopy systems
- Canopy jettison/fracturing systems
- Fire warning/extinguishing systems
- Onboard Oxygen Generating Systems repair/troubleshooting
- Aircraft environmental systems maintenance
- Aircraft pressurization systems; troubleshoot oxygen systems, repair and test oxygen regulators, and Liquid Oxygen (LOX) converters removed from the aircraft.
