Our client in the hospitality industry has a position for a Chef in the Eastern Cape area.

Job Title: Chef

Location: Eastern Cape (Port Elizabeth)
Remuneration: R55 000 p/m

Qualifications:

Formal culinary qualification (e.g. Certificate or Diploma in Professional Cookery/Culinary Arts)
Proven experience working as a chef or cook
Knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and menu planning
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations

Traits and Attributes:

Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Creativity and passion for cooking
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Optional / Advantageous:

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, lodge, or catering environment
First Aid and/or Food Safety certification
