We are currently looking to hire an Assistant Chef to prepare lunch, supper and packed lunches for 8 people at a hostel in Mill Park (Port Elizabeth / Gqeberha).

Hours:
Mon–Fri, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Duties:
* Prepare & cook meals (lasagne, spaghetti bolognese, crumbed chicken fillets, roasts, fish & veg)
* Entry‑level baking: pancakes, crepes, muffins, bread, roosterbrood
* Prepare/pack lunches as needed
* Work from set menu and manage kitchen from start to finish
✔ We’re looking for someone who:
* Has strong culinary skills across different meals
* Can work independently
* Maintains high food quality & presentation
* Shows ownership of kitchen operations
