Overview

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee operations in the logistics industry in the Eastern Cape region. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in logistics operations, including inventory management, transportation, and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations at the site, ensuring efficient and effective functioning of all logistics activities

Manage a team of warehouse staff, drivers, and other logistical personnel, providing guidance and support as needed

Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Maintain a safe and secure work environment, complying with all relevant health and safety regulations

Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

Collaborate with other managers and departments to ensure seamless coordination of logistics operations

Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field

3 – 5 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in the transportation or warehousing industry

Proven track record of successful leadership and management of logistics teams

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team and external stakeholders

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools
