Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician on behalf of our esteemed client in the manufacturing industry. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment. You will collaborate closely with clients to ensure their equipment is operating optimally and meets their specific requirements. Responsibilities:
Fix breakdowns effectively with the least downtime.Perform maintenance as per supplier recommendations.Provide good communication and effective service to customers.Maintain a presentable and professional demeanor.Add value to the customer’s operation.Always use the latest documentation.Attend to internal and external breakdowns.Conduct internal and external preventative maintenance.Ensure customer satisfaction at all times.Uphold the company’s image at all times when at customer premises.Provide specialist services to customers.Follow ISO procedures.Ensure effective, professional communication with customers.Provide comprehensive feedback to suppliers in case of product failures.Deliver high-quality services on customer equipment.Offer remote support for international customers.Requirements:
Formal Tertiary
Education:
Grade 12 in a technical school with Electrical/Electronics as a trade, qualified electrician, or studying towards an equivalent qualification.Languages:English:
Read, write, and speak (required).Afrikaans:
Read, write, and speak (optional).German:
Speak (advantageous).Driver’s License:
Code 8 (required).2 years of automotive working experience.Knowledge of automated cells.Knowledge of PLCs.Familiarity with production lines and Cat cells.Excellent computer literacy.Maintain customer’s production facilities in good running order.Ensure effective, professional communication with customers.Provide comprehensive feedback to suppliers in case of product failures.Deliver high-quality services on customer equipment.Offer remote support for international customers.Benefits:
