Tax Supervisor​/Manager

Tax Supervisor / Manager required in Port Elizabeth.

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Supervisor / Tax Manager to support the Tax Manager and oversee the daily operations of the tax department.

• Supervise and guide tax staff on compliance and best practices
• Assist with tax research, complex tax queries, and SARS liaison
• Manage workflow and ensure high-quality, accurate tax outputs
• Handle audits, income tax & provisional tax returns
• Manage objections, appeals, Tax Ombud complaints, and tax exemption applications
• Assist with dispute resolution and follow-up on all tax-related matters

• Grade 12 with Accounting
• Relevant tax qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a tax environment
• Registered Tax Practitioner (or eligible for registration)
• Proven experience liaising directly with SARS
