Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

Our client is seeking an Accountant to join the Coega, Port Elizabeth team

· Prepare and review monthly management accounts

· Assist with annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS

· Ensure accurate general ledger maintenance and reconciliations

· Support statutory reporting and regulatory compliance

· Assist with preparation and review of income tax, VAT, and provisional tax calculations

· Liaise with SARS and external tax advisors where required

· Ensure timely submission of tax returns

· Perform financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

· Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities

· Support decision-making through financial insights and reporting

· Assist in designing and maintaining internal controls

· Qualified CA(SA) – with 1- 2 years of experience or Newly Qualified CA(SA)

· Strong exposure to IFRS, audit, and financial reporting during articles

· Strong Excel skills

· Experience with SYSPRO advantageous
