Overview

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Procurement Co-Ordinator to join our client’s team.

As a Procurement Co-Ordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our client’s procurement activities and ensuring the efficient sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of goods and services.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Putting together BOQs for 30% subcontractors,
  • Co-ordinating tender processes (invites-appointments) and tender adjudication,
  • Managing supplier relationships,
  • Negotiating contracts,
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures,
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs,
  • Research potential suppliers/subcontractors and evaluate their performance,
  • Monitor and track procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement processes.

    • The ideal candidate for this position will have SANRAL experience, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • SANRAL experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance
