Senior Accountant
Our client in the Healthcare Industry is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.
Job Type: Permanent - Onsite
Job Location: Gqeberha
Requirements, Experience and Qualifications- Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel partner, Sage, Intacct)
- Financial Accounting Degree
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accountant role
- Recent Stock and Fixed Asset experience essential
- Manage general ledger and ensure accurate accounting
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile financial records
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Assist in audits and regulatory reporting
Furthermore, the individuals will work closely with the Facility Managers and therefore excellent communication skills are essential as well as the ability to take initiative and support team efforts.
Key Competencies/Skills- Ability to ensure accuracy in financial records and transactions
- Excellent time management and ability to multitask
- Understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance standards in South Africa
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
