Senior Accountant required in Port Elizabeth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing accounting records on a computerized accounting system
- Preparing annual financial statements for CCs, trusts, sole proprietors and body corporates
- Drafting working paper files and calculating tax for businesses and individuals
- Completing statutory returns (PAYE, UIF, SDL, VAT)
- Liaising directly with clients
- Supervising and training junior and intermediate accountants
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric with accounting (higher grade)
- BCom or equivalent degree with accounting III and taxation
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles, or 6+ years’ experience in an accounting practice
- Extensive experience in drafting AFS and strong Caseware knowledge
