Overview

We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our Conuvo Construction Materials team in Port Coquitlam, BC. The Shipper/Receiver position is primarily responsible for the safe loading and unloading of concrete related products within the warehouse and yard. This position will also track the incoming/outgoing shipments, maintaining an organized and accurate inventory in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products and materials both hand and with a forklift.
• Schedule all outbound shipments.
• Receive incoming materials and verify shipment accuracy, complete Bill of Lading, take pictures of inbound/outbound loads.
• Enter shipments into the inventory processing software.
• Track inventory levels and notify management of discrepancies.
• Build and maintain a strong knowledge base of concrete materials and products.
• Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and within scope.
• General yard and warehouse housekeeping and maintenance duties as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Participate in safe working policies/procedures including wearing PPE, attending safety meetings, identifying/reporting hazards, completing incident reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general warehouse experience.
• Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
• Forklift operating experience and previous forklift certification is an asset.

Hours of Work

• This is a full-time, permanent position.
• Regular work week will be Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm.
• Overtime and weekend may be required on occasion based on customer demand.
• Warehouse environment where PPE is required, including CSA steel toed boots.
• Frequent bending, climbing, and lifting required.
• Ability to lift weights of up to 50lbs on a frequent basis is required.
