Produce Associate at Sam's Club

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
.
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00
. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
- Be a Team Member:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; provide customer service; support other areas as needed; track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage promptly. - Be an Expert:
Understand quality processes and specifications for various produce merchandise; prepare products according to established standards; ensure product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. - Be a Techie:
Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and promote their use. - Be an Owner:
Drive department performance; use inventory management techniques to stock and rotate products; ensure quality and date control; reduce waste; assist customers per company policies and procedures. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Model high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion; advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience. - Complies with company policies and standards of ethics; apply Open Door Policy in business processes.
- Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; prioritize and meet deadlines; communicate progress; identify opportunities for improvement and adapt to change.
- Provide exceptional customer service; maintain a positive attitude; greet and thank members.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area; receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner; maintain inventory to avoid stockouts or overstock.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Be able to complete required trainings and assessments as part of the position
