Position at Veterinary Emergency Clinic (aka Port Charlotte) – Emergency Veterinarian.

Veterinary Emergency Clinic is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our amazing eight-doctor animal practice in Port Charlotte, FL

You’ll be joining a full service group; we have 9 full-time doctors and multiple relief doctors. Our AAHA accredited clinic is open evenings during the week and 24 hours on the weekends, including holidays. We are a hard-working team that likes to have fun and are looking for someone who can fit in with us. The successful candidate will be able to work well with a team in a collaborative setting, bring their own progressive ideas and philosophies to the practice, and help the practice grow.

Soft tissue surgical skills are required for this position.

Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • Active, or ability to obtain, FL license in good standing to practice.
Schedule
  • 12 shifts per month.
  • Flexible schedule – we will work with you and our doctor team to create a desired schedule.
