LPN Weekend Supervisor

South Port Square is a 40-acre senior living community in Port Charlotte, near Charlotte Harbor and Punta Gorda. We are a dedicated team focused on trust, transparency, and helping employees reach their highest potential. We are actively seeking a hospitality-driven professional to join our team.

The Assisted Living Weekend Nursing Supervisor (LPN) is responsible for the overall nursing care/service and management of all personnel on the shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls. This shift is 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends are required.

• Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on the shift.
• Administers direct care as necessary.
• Gives and receives shift reports.
• Rounds twice a shift to ensure proper care in a safe and clean environment.
• Keeps physicians and families informed of changes in resident condition.
• Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Maintains the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.
• Maintains accurate documentation of all care rendered.
• Responds to resident emergency call system.
• Interfaces with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
• Accompanies physicians when making rounds.
• Encourages restorative care to maximize resident independence.

• LPN currently licensed in the State of Florida
• Current CPR certification
• Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with an understanding of restorative nursing
• Supervisory experience required

Salary:
From $31.00 per hour
