Make a difference as a Health & Wellness Director

As our new Full Time Health & Wellness Director at Parkside Assisted Living and Memory Care, you'll be at the forefront of promoting the health and well-being of our residents. On a daily basis, you'll assess the wellness needs of our community, develop comprehensive wellness programs, and collaborate with care teams to ensure the highest standards of health services. You will lead engaging workshops, conduct health screenings, and coordinate fitness activities, fostering an active lifestyle among residents.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for evaluating program effectiveness and making necessary improvements to ensure excellence in care. Every day will see you working closely with families, addressing concerns with empathy, and ensuring a customer-centric focus in all interactions. You'll also mentor and train staff, creating an energetic environment committed to high performance and innovative practices.

Are you the Health & Wellness Director we're looking for?
  • To thrive as the Health & Wellness Director at Parkside Assisted Living and Memory Care, you'll need a blend of professional qualifications and essential skills.
  • A graduate of an accredited nursing school, you must hold a current license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • Your communication skills must be top-notch, enabling you to engage effectively with residents, families, and external contacts.
  • With a minimum of two years of experience in geriatric nursing and nursing administration, you'll be prepared to exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Critical thinking will be vital for defining problems and analyzing data, ensuring that you can draw valid conclusions to inform our wellness strategies.
  • Flexibility in working hours is crucial as you adapt to the dynamic needs of our residents and the organization. Participation in professional geriatrics organizations is a welcomed advantage, enhancing your expertise in the field.
