Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1877) rting hourly rate: $15.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks
• Engage with guests to solve their needs and communicate current promos and store activities
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, services, and store features to resolve issues and improve guest experience
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan, bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy
• Explain and assist with Target App features (Wallet, Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, online ordering) and enroll guests when appropriate
• Handle returns following procedures and escalate to Leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; stock supplies during store hours
• Adhere to safety policies and report hazards
• Support guest services such as Order Pick Up, Drive-Up, and related duties while complying with applicable laws
• Other duties as needed

• Accurately handle checkout operations and cash office tasks as needed
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise; occasional lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance
• Flexible work schedule; reliable attendance
• Ability to stay mobile for scheduled shift; exposure to varying temperatures or conditions depending on duties
