Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Willexaminethebill of ladingprovidedbycustomers.
This examinationistoverifythatthe bill oflandingcontainstheprojectnumber,unit number,quantities,andfind (part) number.Assist with the unloading of materials sent via truck or barge fromcustomersverifying the bill of ladingreceivedmatches the transport company’sbill of lading.
Make sure all materialsareoff loadedand accounted forbased off bill of lading.Cannotcheckmaterialsuntilthe customerrepresentativearrives.
The customerrepresentativewillassistwiththe receiving of materials.Material handlerandcustomer representative will receive all materials basedoffbill of ladings.Willassistproductionpersonnelwithplacing materials foreachunitinitsdesignated areas.Documentallparts onthebill ofladingthathave been received;including quantities, andanydamagedmaterialsfound.Document any missing items frombillof lading and provide to QC.Work withproductionpersonnelcomparing the materials on thebill ofladingto the drawings part list.Assist
QCwithtakingpaneldimensions foraccuratecontrolwhen he/shehastime and has been asked toassist.Assist Production with panel fabrication when he/she has time and has been asked toassist.
Consisting of helping take measurements, grinding, and cleaning shop areas.Required
Education & Experience:High School Diploma,some collegeor technical school certification.A minimum of6 monthsto 1year experience in warehousing, production, or inventory management is preferred.Working Conditions:Regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humidand /or rainy weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.Necessary
Equipment Operation:
Computer SkillsForklift(extend a boom) operating abilities.Operate shop overhead cranes.Special
