Under the general supervision of the Imaging Supervisor, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the provision of radiological services to patients according to physicians' orders.

Imaging technologist must be registered in at least one other modality in addition to Radiology.

Provides for patient safety and high quality testing.

POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiology Technology.

Current registration with A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiology Technologist) or registration eligible.

Certified by the Texas Department of State Health Service. Medical Radiologic Technologist. (MRT)

Previous experience in hospital environment preferred.

Registered in at least one other modality in addition to radiology preferred.

Certification per unit specific competence (i.e. BLS, CPI, etc.).

Specific training in the other specialty area as required by that area preferred.
