Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake.

The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy GBU LNG projects. As the #1 LNG EPC contractor by installed capacity, Bechtel has the capability to successfully deliver a broad range of LNG projects through our integrated EPC self-perform model, strategic partnerships, and proven experience in LNG project delivery.

Partnering with Bechtel means lower cost, shorter delivery schedules, and greater certainty of outcomes for our customers.

Directs craft activities, subordinate superintendents, and others, as assigned.

Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.

Performs general functions inherent in all supervisory field positions. #LI-JL1

Leadership/Supervision:

• Manages the organization and direction of construction and related activities of a single construction project, including actions of Bechtel, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and their representatives.
• Maintains client relationship and is primary client contact for field activities.
• Oversees total site management including supervision of construction craft personnel, field engineering, contract administration, cost and schedule, field procurement, finance and accounting services, and craft resource personnel as applicable.
• Coordinates all project contractual activities.

Planning:

• Oversees jobsite expenditures for labor equipment, material, services, and ensures field operations are within budget.
• Follows design development and, suggests economical construction details to be incorporated into design drawings and specifications.
• Uses individual knowledge and familiarity with the assigned job as well as past experience, with assistance from the construction support groups, to identify potential problem areas.
• Develops supply chain packaging and management plan for the project in collaboration with engineering, design sub-consultant and procurement functions. Develops field organization and construction equipment plans, with assistance of construction support groups.
• Establishes project field procedures and objectives within corporate policies and procedures as necessitated by conditions at site.
• Develops, implements, and administers a jobsite security plan and coordinates the activities with security department.
• Participates in the preparation and review of construction cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
• Maintains awareness of any major quantity changes.

Safety & Quality:

• Ensures development and execution of project automation plan, environmental compliance plan, safety plan, site survey plan, non-manual staffing plan, subcontracting plan, labor strategy, construction execution plan, and site work rules.
• Plans and establishes procedures to ensure construction meets engineering specifications.
• Participates in meetings with Bechtel team members and customer.

• Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience.

• Advanced knowledge in Industry Construction methods and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of environmental, safety, and health is essential.
• Demonstrated safety record.
• Extensive experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams (including subconsultant), consisting of geotechnical, civil, structural, seismic, process, mechanical,…
