Job Description
The Radiologic Technician, Non-Registered is actively attending a radiology technologist training program or is a recent graduate who has not taken the ARRT licensing exam. They are responsible for learning how to perform radiologic procedures, working under the supervision of a licensed, registered radiologic technologist. Exams performed are upon request of referring providers and as directed by OMC credentialed radiologists.
Education
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training; or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
Experience
- Completion of radiology program didactic education. Satisfactory performance in active, clinical radiology training program.
- Progressive clinical skill development during radiology training assignment while enrolled as a student in a radiologic technology program.
Licensure/Credentials
- Student status or registry eligible upon satisfactory completion of training program.
- Recent graduates will have met all prerequisites and are in pre-registry status with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Washington State X-ray technician license required.
- BLS certified or able to obtain and maintain certification.
