PRIMARY FUNCTION:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to provide homebound instruction for students unable to attend school due to medical or other approved reasons. This is a rewarding opportunity to support student learning on a one-on-one basis and ensure continuity of education outside the traditional classroom environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold a current Virginia teaching license or be deemed eligible for such by the Virginia Department of Education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Commitment to working with students of varying backgrounds, abilities, and needs.
- High ethical standards and personal integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, school staff, and community members.
- Flexibility and reliability to travel between multiple locations in a single day as needed.
- Ability to promote and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
