Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time and part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions.

Location:

Poplar Bluff RI School, 820 North 5th Street, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.

Schedule:

Full time and part time;
Monday – Friday, day shift. Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $16.00 per hour.

• Performs cashiering duties and sales transactions; enters sales into the cash register and handles payments (including making change and accepting cards).
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations; distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Stores foods in designated areas with proper wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils; ensures sanitation and safety compliance.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolves customer questions or concerns in a service-oriented manner.
• Relays relevant information to the supervisor and performs other duties as assigned.

• Requirement:
  Previous kitchen experience preferred.
