Your Role as a Personal Care Attendant
In this rewarding position, you'll provide compassionate physical and emotional support to our residents, creating a warm and nurturing environment that enhances their quality of life.
What you’ll do- Personal Care: Help residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Safety Monitoring: Keep a watchful eye on residents for any signs of distress, following safety protocols and responding appropriately to incidents.
- Documentation: Record resident care, changes in condition, and daily activities of living accurately.
- Team Communication: Work with nursing staff and fellow caregivers to address residents’ needs.
- Resident Engagement: Organize and participate in activities that boost residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
- Privacy Maintenance: Uphold residents’ confidentiality and privacy according to company policy and HIPAA regulations.

Education:
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. - Certifications: CPR and BLS certifications are a plus; training is available.
- Interpersonal
Skills:
Friendly, patient, and positive attitude with excellent listening skills. - Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Attention to Detail: Keen focus on residents’ comfort and safety.
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and safely transfer residents.
- Vision requirements include seeing near and far with good depth perception.
