Key Responsibilities

* Follow and promote safe work practices

* Good eye-hand coordination

* Able to lift heavy material

* Ensure installation meets Palmetto State Glass and Manufacturer's installation quality standards

* Interpret blueprints to determine the shape, size, color and thickness of glass for installation

* Able to read a tape measure and measure glass

* Valid drivers license; able to drive to job sites

* Fabricate and install moldings for glass installation

* Cutting and removing broken glass

* Installation of new glass

* Clean job sites once installation complete

Key Duties

* Be knowledgeable of all OSHA standards and requirements as related to our industry

* Ability to lift heavy objects

* Good communication skills

* Cut glass and mirrors

* Install storefront, curtain wall, doors, hardware and glass

* Fabricate and install break metal

* Caulk

* Conduct daily quality assurance audits throughout project
