Security Officer - Screening Specialist

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location;
Screen employees, visitors, and/or contractors at entry points by verifying identification, checking authorization, and following screening protocols for prohibited items;
Control access for pedestrian and vehicle traffic, including directing drivers to designated areas and reporting unusual activity to site leadership per post orders;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating concerns through the appropriate channels;
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations
