Overview

As a Product Demonstrator Associate, you will prepare, serve, and break down food and non‑food demonstrations in-store. You will acquire and maintain knowledge of the products represented, engage consumers, and demonstrate products in a professional manner, maintaining a clean work area and a consistent professional appearance.

Description

Pay rate: $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Possess aptitude and ability to gain knowledge of the products represented.
  • Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of the product.
  • Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
  • Maintain a professional appearance consistent with company requirements.
  • Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
  • Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
  • Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
  • Complete expense reports as per company policy.
  • Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
  • Access the internet, navigate company’s electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents (Word & PDF).
Qualifications
  • Education/

    Experience:

    High school diploma or GED; one to three months’ related experience or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer

    Skills:

    Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handler permit may be required.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach above 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb stairs, balance, lift and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), push and pull a fully laden wheeled cart, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and contact cleaning supplies.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
  • Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
  • Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming; specific retailer dress code in training documents.
  • Language

    Skills:

    English primary; bilingual may be required based on business necessity.
