Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Infection Control Preventionist/ Staff Development professional to join our team at Resorts at Pooler in Pooler, Georgia. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of infection control and prevention, while also providing guidance and support to our staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain effective infection control policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and evidence-based guidelines

• Conduct regular surveys and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these issues

• Provide education and training to staff on infection control principles, proper hand hygiene, and effective use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategies to reduce healthcare-associated infections (HAIs)

• Participate in policy development and revision to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

• Conduct competency assessments and provide feedback to staff to ensure proficiency in infection control procedures

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Georgia

• 0 years of experience in infection control prevention or a related field preferred

• Strong understanding of infection control principles and practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
