This position is responsible for directly overseeing quality inspections and to give adequate support, training and development to team members.

• Conduct periodic audits of machines and Team Members to ensure conformity with standards
• Provide support and assist in the development of inspection systems
• Actively participate in the development of the Quality Team and Team Members
• Participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams
• Continuously measure and improve safety, quality, efficiency and cost
• Conduct daily safety meetings and team meetings
• Substitute in direct production duties as necessary
• Provide training and feedback to fellow team members to help facilitate JCB’s Production System
• Other duties as assigned

Reports to Quality Manager.

• Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.
• Associate degree or equivalent technical training in manufacturing
• Four years of experience with quality in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience with individual supervision
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP
• Excellent time management and planning skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to motivate staff and deliver results
• Flexibility with work activities; available for overtime
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment as required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• Must be able to work the 4 days on 4 days off schedule
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs, frequently and/or move up to 35lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to perform continuous, repetitious physical activities. These activities may involve fine movements or large motions.
• Must be able to grasp/pinch small items, reach out and up, and turn wrist.
• Must be capable of keeping pace with current production speed.
• Must be able to push/pull with reasonable force.
• Must be able to perform the following requirements of bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in multiple climates including hot/cold temperatures, and dusty environment.
