Base pay range

$14.00/hr - $14.00/hr

As a Store Custodian at Goodwill, you’ll provide an exceptional cleaning experience that will leave our locations clean, neat, and tidy!

Your Impact:

• Responsible for the overall cleaning experience of the store
• Sweeping and mopping floors along with sanitizing bathrooms
• Cleaning sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Restocking supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
• Emptying all trash cans and replacing liners, cleaning receptacles as necessary
• Dusting and cleaning dressing rooms, store fixtures, office desks, furniture, etc.
• Cleaning windowsills and windows.
• Maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Responsible for monitoring inventory, cleaning supplies and paper products, for specific assigned work areas; re-supply when needed.
• Understanding and demonstrating the proper use of safety practices & ensure standards are maintained for the department.
• Actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established company policies and procedures.

Your Qualifications:

• Six months of custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills i.e. ability to communicate positively and consistently with the customer, co-workers and supervisor; delivering professional consistent results.
