Trainee Field Technician

We are recruiting for a number of Field Technicians who will be based across the Southwest region. You will be required to assist in leak detection activities. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday with flexible working hours.

• Use supplied technology to record acoustic sound files across a water distribution network using digital equipment.
• Work independently within urban/suburban environments.
• Adhere to performance indicators set out by the client.
• Liaise with supervisors.
• Work to achieve targets.
• Manual job involving lifting, stretching and bending; experience of driving long hours is beneficial.

• Experience working outdoors and interacting with members of the public.
• Self-motivated individual with an eye for detail and a focus on customer service and teamwork.
• A full clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to prioritise a variety of tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Water Hygiene, Street works and Manual handling accreditation – full training will be provided.

• A full UK manual driving licence; a vehicle and fuel card will be provided for work purposes.
