Grounds maintenance operative

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and groundskeeping, ensuring that gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas are kept in pristine condition.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVING LICENCE

Duties

* Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.

* Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.

* Operate and maintain various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.

* Build and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other outdoor structures as required.

* Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.

* Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Experience

* Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential.

* Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for the upkeep of equipment used in maintenance tasks.

* Familiarity with power tools and hand tools relevant to gardening and landscaping is beneficial.

* A passion for working outdoors and maintaining beautiful environments is essential for success in this role.
