Team Jobs is recruiting for an Electrical Tester & Quality Technician to join a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Poole.

This role will focus on the final testing, inspection and quality sign-off of electrical control panels before they are dispatched to customers.

Working closely with the assembly and engineering teams, you will ensure that completed control panels meet the required technical and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out electrical and functional testing of completed control panels

• Performing final inspection checks before dispatch

• Identifying and reporting non-conformances

• Supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions

• Ensuring products comply with quality standards and procedures

• Completing test documentation and quality records

• Reading and working from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics

• Supporting continuous improvement within the production environment

• Experience working in electrical manufacturing, control panel assembly, or electrical testing

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring schematics

• Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

• Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment

Desirable:

• Electrical or Electronic qualification (Level 2 minimum)

• Experience working within ISO 9001 quality systems

• Knowledge of PLC-based control panels

• 35,000 salary

• Monday-Friday working hours (8:00 - 17:00)
