Production Assistant

Production Assistant | Poole | Up to £30,000 per annum

If you’re looking for a hands‑on role where your engineering experience and ability to stay organised under pressure will make a real impact, this Production Assistant position could be ideal for you. You’ll be joining a well‑established business recognised for the design and manufacture of specialist safety equipment, supporting both production and stores operations.

• Monday to Friday working hours with no weekend shifts
• Free on‑site parking
• A commitment to ongoing training and development
• Stability within a growing engineering and manufacturing environment

• Assisting with stores operations including booking‑in, stock accuracy and materials handling
• Operating machinery and supporting production activities, including milling where required
• Assembly using a range of hand and power tools
• Delivery driving to customer sites when needed
• Loading and unloading materials safely
• Ensuring health and safety standards are consistently maintained

• A background within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Previous exposure to stores, warehousing or materials handling
• A full UK driving licence for delivery driving
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  
  Computer literacy and clear written and verbal communication
