This is a fantastic opportunity for a Specifications Technologist to join our team at Poole for this site‑based role, working 22.5 hours per week. We are flexible on how the hours are worked across the week and can discuss this with individuals at interview stage.

• Ensure product information is accurate, compliant, and clearly communicated across all branded, private label, and third‑party products.
• Act as the go‑to expert for product specifications and packaging compliance, ensuring everything meets legal and market requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Product Development, Commercial, Site Technical, Marketing, Packaging Technology, Operations, and Regulatory teams.
• Contribute to cross‑functional projects, bringing clarity and precision to discussions around product data and packaging artwork.
• Maintain specification systems and support process improvements, ensuring packaging and labelling are compliant and aligned with customer and retailer expectations.

• In‑depth knowledge of food labelling legislation across UK, EU, and international markets.
• Proven experience in specification management within the food industry.
• Proficiency with specification software systems (e.g., Hamilton Grant, Trace One, WWP).
• Understanding of nutrition and food manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrates a pragmatic approach to compliance and legislation.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally across departments and manufacturing sites.
