Due to an impending retirement we are seeking a skilled CNC Turner and Programmer to join our team.

• Manufacturing high quality components from a range of exotic materials.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, STEP files and technical diagrams.
• Set and operate 2-axis and 3-axis CNC Lathes.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment at all times.
• Liaising with managers and shop floor staff to highlight any technical issues or potential risks.
• Help drive technology and cutting‑edge manufacturing techniques.

• Time served machinist, preferred but not essential;
  City & Guilds in mechanical manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• Manual turning skills desirable.
• CAD/CAM experience desirable; training can be provided.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to workload and business needs.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Use of Fanuc and/or XYZ controllers.
