U-Drive are looking for a friendly and ‘can-do' Valeter who thrives in a fast paced environment for our Poole branch! If you have a solid understanding of vehicle cleaning and detailing practices we'd love to hear from you.

About The Role

As a Valeter at U-Drive, you'll play a crucial role in preparing our ex-rental vehicles for sale, working a 42.5-hour week Monday to Friday. This position involves preparing vehicles to an exceptional standard so they are ready to be removed from our fleet and sold.

• Remove vehicle signwriting using a heat gun, ensuring all branding is fully cleared
• Clean and detail vehicles to the required standards, removing any remaining evidence of the U-Drive brand
• Perform machine polishing/mopping to restore vehicle appearance
• Undertake basic remedial work, including wheel changes, installing body mouldings, and safely jump‑starting vehicles
• Photograph, film, and record descriptive videos of vehicles for marketing and sales purposes
• Use the vehicle management system to update and track vehicle progress
• Safely move, position, and park vehicles in designated areas
• Collect vehicles from other U-Drive branches when required
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, keeping work areas clean, tidy, and compliant with regulations
• Ensure the yard and surrounding spaces remain clean, free of rubbish, litter, and weeds
• Support internal branch cleanliness and housekeeping
• Perform any additional duties as required

• Full UK driving licence
• Positive "can do" attitude
• Solid understanding of vehicle cleaning and detailing practices
• Team player with honesty and trustworthiness
• Ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Prompt and courteous response to queries
