PositionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Finance Administrator to join our Finance Team. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments and the effective maintenance of the purchase ledger. Your work will play an important part in supporting the financial stability of the organisation and enabling us to continue delivering vital services to those who need them most.
Key Responsibilities- Process a high volume of purchase invoices within the finance system (Iplicit), ensuring appropriate authorisation is obtained.
- Reconcile supplier statements on a regular basis and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and process weekly BACS payments to suppliers.
- Respond promptly to queries from suppliers and colleagues via email and telephone.
- Maintain the purchase ledger, including monitoring and reviewing aged creditors.
- Provide cover for rent and service charge receipt processing, cashbook imports, and sales ledger tasks when required.
- Undertake additional duties as requested to support the effective running of the Finance function.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions in line with financial procedures and controls.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial procedures and user guidelines.
- Deliver excellent customer service to both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Act as a professional role model, representing the organisation positively and in line with our values.

- Experience of using a finance system
- Experience of ledgers and reconciliations
- Intermediate IT skills in Microsoft suite of software
