As Management Accountant, you'll be a key member of the finance team, responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, overseeing management accounting activities, and supporting strategic decision - making across the business .
Key Responsibilities- Provide ongoing support to members of the finance team, ensuring achievement of the team's targets
- Record accurate and timely transactions on the accounting system
- Maintain good working relationships and provide excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare monthly management accounts for various group companies. This includes the following:
- Oversee the closing of the ledgers
- Prepare and post monthly journals
- Post accruals / prepayments
- Update fixed asset registers
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Prepare other detailed reports and workings
- Assist with the annual budget and audit process
- Ensure timely submission/completion of all management reporting and regulatory reporting
We're after a confident, qualified finance professional (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with solid experience in management accounting and a sharp eye for both detail and strategy. You'll be fluent in Excel, familiar with ERP systems like Netsuite or SAP, and comfortable presenting financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
