We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor Yard to join the team at our Poole branch.

Hours:

07.00 – 16.30 or 07.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 08.00
-12.00

To undertake warehouse and yard duties to ensure customer needs are met, promote and maximise sales and margins by providing excellent customer service whilst maintaining a safe environment that is in line with company policies and procedures.

• Fulfilling customer orders in a timely fashion
• Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)
• Checking incoming products against Proof of Delivery
• Completing documentation as necessary
• Realising full potential of all customer interactions and build effective relationships with customers and suppliers
• Understanding local market issues and communicate to Manager to support sales growth plans
• Report missing or damaged products to management
• Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values

• Deliver key KPIs for your branch
• Manage loading and unloading process (customer/supplier deliveries, interbranch transfers)
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Safeguard Company’s stock, money and all other Company assets
• Enhance the Safety and Wellbeing culture and meet targets
• Carry out all cash transactions and till processes accurately and safeguard companies stock, money and all other company assets

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work accordingly
• Strong communication skills
• Confident working both indoors and outdoors
• A health and safety focus
• Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
